CONFERENCE ON FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT FOR NON-FINANCE MANAGERS AND ALL OTHER INTERESTED OFFICERS
Lilongwe Commercial College is pleased to announce that it will conduct a Conference on Financial Management for Non-Finance Managers and all other interested officers both from Public and Private Organizations. The aim of this conference is to impart in the participants new skills and competencies required to effectively manage finances in their various organization.
Registration
Conference fee of $1,200 does not include transport and accommodation but will cover two refreshments, lunch and training materials. At the end of this training, participant will be given an attendance certificate plus a golf shirt.
To achieve these aims, the following will be covered.
- Introduction to Management Accounting and relevant costs for decisions
- Fundamental accounting principles and conventions
- Compiling an activity based budget for your division, department or section
- Using the budget as a tool for planning, management, control, monitoring, evaluating and feed-back
- Overview of working capital management: cash, debtors, stocks, prepayments, bank loans, creditors and accrued expenses, overview of business planning and capital budgeting
- Financial ratio analysis: profitability, liquidity, gearing and debt services
Target group for this Conference are all Non-Finance Managers without Finance or Accounting background and all other interested officer.
